The Miser Poster The Royal Exchange Theatre

This is a classic comedy with a modern twist. The production of The Miser is set in a non-specific period dating from 17th century to present day. The director described it as a 17th century nightmare dreamt today.

Every 1 were commissioned by The Royal Exchange Theatre to create an arresting image for The Miser poster in collage and mixed media. The style was inspired by the artist Sarah Fanelli and had to be playful and fun.

We are looking for talented web developers to fill full time positions within our Lancashire based HQ to support our London and Manchester studios. The successful candidate will work within our structured, yet relaxed Blackburn studio environment and must be able to work well with our experienced design and development teams.

Some high profile contract wins for some of the countries leading companies, means there is lots of potential for growth within the company.

The chosen candidates responsibilities will range from:

• Using own initiative and commercial experience to build corporate brochure websites from approved creative using current web standards in XHTML and CSS.

• Implementing every1’s CMS “Ticker” into various projects and building on the current framework.

• Further developing every1’s e-learning platform “Noggin”.

• Helping to push every1 into new markets by giving us the edge over competitors.

• Integrating with the current dev team to implement our white label ecommerce strategy.

• Exploring new development techniques and keeping up to date with emerging technologies.

• Supporting customers and being confident when client facing.

• Able to cope with steep learning curves when emerging into new markets

Essentials Skills:
You must be passionate about what you do
Have at least 4 years experience in ASP.NET, .NET 3.5(Preferably VB.NET), SQL server 2005/2008, Javascript, XML, AJAX, jQuery, SSIS, LINQ
Experience of IIS and Windows 2008 server management
Good knowledge of Photoshop and/ or Fireworks

Desirables include:
Some php / mysql 5.x+ knowledge to help support our legacy sites
Project management software experience
Previous development of e-learning solutions
Flash / Actionscript experience
An understanding of good SEO practices

Salary: from 22-28k dependant on commercial experience
