The Orphanage quad poster Optimum Releasing

Tipped as one of the scariest movies of the year and produced by the visual genius that is Guillermo Del Toro, this highly-acclaimed Spanish film needed a poster that combined elements from the movie and offered a sense of fantasy and a presence of dread. We also worked in hidden elements within the landscape behind what appears to be old wallpaper - a key plot line from the movie.

Out with the old...

...and in with the new. With a new year comes new ideas and a desire to improve on the previous. For Morada, 2009 sees the launch of their elegant new website.

Morada have specialised in fabric since 1876. Their heritage is the foundation of the business, with a sartorial British style as their way of life. They approached every1 to design a website that would exhibit  their fine craftsmanship and excellent tailoring.

With this in-mind, every1 have created a site that gives the user an insight into the vast heritage of Morada, as well as promoting their three divisions; Morada, Morada Contract and Morada Manufacturing.

The outing

Last night was the every1 outing to the land of Manchester. Starting at Label for some good grub then moving on to "The old grapes" and "Revolutions", we had quite a mild night out in terms of nights out. Good fun was had by all and I even ended the night by wishing everyone Merry Christmas to every passer by.

This is just a roundabout way of wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a fruitful New Year

Merry Christmas everyone from every1

secret santa turns viral

What started off as a £10 secret santa, has turned the recipient into unexpected cult figure. Lance Olive, senior designer and all round good guy has been crowned the In-One Doughnut Eating Champion 08.

On the back of the initial idea, every1 printed promo t-shirts and created a microsite, which was posted on forums and social networks. So far the response for 09's competition has been great, so much so we will be implimenting an upload facility and other features in the new year.

judge a book... by its cover

They say you should never judge a book by its cover, but having stumbled across this little collection of classic and contemporary covers, it's hard not to.

They're a great source of inspiration and a true homeage to some of the most striking typography to date.

Personally I'm a sucker for the penguin covers, they truly have stood the test of time.

Check out the '50 Beautiful movie posters' link too. Enjoy!
