Ticker™ is modular based, this allows administrators to precisely control which members of their team can edit what areas of the website. Upon login, Ticker™ users are presented with a friendly interface “The Dashboard”, this simple navigation enables users to easily access the powerful features located within each module. A description of each module can be found below:
Users
Administrators can create multiple user accounts and control who can edit what, and on which website.
For clients with multiple websites, our single sign on allows you to edit all your websites from one area, using the one username & password.
News
Create news groups to catagorise your stories and show on relevant webpages or sections. Use the flexible text editor to compose your articles and allow the publish date range to automatically activate and/or deactivate them.
Content
Add new pages by choosing from a range of predefined templates with drop zones to place content, images, hyperlinks and banners. Alternatively, you can reduce page set up times by duplicating an existing page using the copy page feature.
Edit page content, preview and publish to the live website or save a version to publish at a later date.
Use the drag and drop interface to reorder your navigation and utilise the built in text editor to style your page content as you would in Microsoft® Word.
You can also manage your on page SEO by editing page properties such as: url, menu name, page title, meta description and tags.
Images
Upload images in multiple formats ( .gif, .jpg, .png, etc ) and crop, resize, flip or rotate them using the image editor. All page text editors feature an image selector to access the image upload folder, enabling you to easily embed images onto your pages.
Documents
Upload popular document formats ( pdf, .doc, .csv, .xls, .ppt, .flv, .swf, etc ) to a folder on your website. The document upload folder can be accessed from all text editors, enabling you to quickly create download links to share them with your visitors.
Galleries
Create multiple galleries and reuse them across multiple pages. Ticker galleries utilise lightbox technology to beautifully frame images and are perfect for presenting images you wish to show off.
Lists
Prevent scrolling down a seemingly endless page by creating lists of items, visitors can skip read subject headers and click to reveal relevant information. Ideal for frequently asked questions, terms & conditions or privacy policy pages.
Newsletters
