brooklands shoot goes swimmingly

Having rescheduled due to poor weather numerous times, every1 eventually descended on Brooklands Country Retreat yesterday for a monster 12 hour photo shoot. 

At the heart of the retreat sits a beautiful 19^th century house, with 11 individually decorated bedrooms. Facilities at the venue include a Health Spa & Hair Salon, Gym, Hydro Pool, Swimming Pool, Restaurant & a newly opened Thai Bistro. The peaceful country setting provided the perfect backdrop to capture the luxury location in all its glory.

The shoot went smoothly with all pre-planned shots completed on time. every1 photographer, Andy "just one more" Harrison even found time to don his speedos and cool off with our models in the pool.

A big thanks from Andy and myself to all the staff at Brooklands and a special mention to Niki, Vicky and Nancy. Without you girls we would probably still be there!

Advice for every1...

If you had purchased £1000 of Northern Rock shares one year ago they would now be worth £4.95.  With HBOS, earlier this week your £1000 would have been worth £16.50  £1000 invested in XL Leisure would now be worth less than £5.

But if you bought £1000 worth of Tenants’ Lager one year ago, drank it all, then took the empty cans to an aluminium re-cycling plant, you would get £214.

So based on the above statistics the best current investment advice is to drink heavily and re-cycle...

Happy birthday Google!

As you will come to learn over the course of my blogs, I have an obsession with Google.

So, not to disappoint, here is another post about them!

It is Google's 10th birthday this week; they have been one of the most successful internet search engines since 1998.

They have achieved so much in their time, after only two years of being open they got the award for best search engine and moved to an office with a mountain view.

They doubled their staff between 2005 and 2008 taking them to 17,000 employees.

They have just announced their release of an operation system for a mobile phone

They have over 1 trillion pages in their index

They have achieved what they first set out to do in 1998, not only have they achieved it but they have done it whilst maintaining their integrity and morals
